The source of the radiation was a 31-kilogram batch of dried porcini mushrooms in a commercial cardboard container.<\/p>\n<p>A subsequent examination with an\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.aspect-dubna.ru\/en\/product\/mks-a03\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">MKC-A03 Handheld Radiation Monitor<\/a>\u00a0confirmed the presence of the cesium-137 radionuclide in the products, with radiation levels exceeding the natural background by more than 10 times.<\/p>\n<p>By decision of the Federal Service for the Oversight of Consumer Protection and Welfare, the food products were classified as radioactive waste subject to disposal in accordance with established procedures.<\/p>\n<p>Details are available on the Russian FCS\u00a0<a
